President of Israel Isaac Herzog will make a one-day diplomatic visit to Cyprus on Thursday, September 10, following an invitation from President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides, according to a statement by the Israeli Presidency.
Mr Herzog will be received at the Presidential Palace by President Christodoulides. The two leaders will hold a private meeting, during which they will discuss ways to further deepen cooperation and strengthen relations between Cyprus and Israel.
Expanded talks will then take place with the participation of delegations from the two countries, led by the two Presidents. At the start of the meeting, Isaac Herzog and Nikos Christodoulides will make statements.
According to the statement, the visit forms part of the ongoing cooperation and regular contacts between the two Presidents, with the aim of further developing Cyprus-Israel relations.
The Israeli Presidency also refers to President Christodoulides’ visit to Israel in December 2025. During that visit, the President of the Republic met with Isaac Herzog at the Presidential Residence in Jerusalem.
